Greg Hughes has owned and managed several
residential properties over the past eight (8) years. He has personally
cleaned and supervised the cleaning of these and many other properties.
Prior to starting a mortgage company in 1993 Greg worked for his
Father-In-Law's cleaning co. (Pyramid Environmental Services) located in
Baltimore, MD cleaning commercial facilities, i.e., churches. After getting out of the Mortgage industry in June
2008, Greg created his new company Bethany Beach Cleaning, LLC in order
to clean and maintain residential and commercial properties in the
Rehoboth Beach, Bethany Beach, DE and Ocean City, MD area with a future goal
of going nationwide. Greg offers the best service, with the lowest
prices.

After attending the University of MD
(College Park) in 1981
Greg took a position with IBM at
its Corporate Headquarters in Bethesda, MD; after eleven years working
with IBM Greg took the first “early retirement” available and received a
position as the Billing Operations Manger with Atlantic Cellular
Communications (ACC) in Chevy Chase, MD. However, this new company was
quickly bought out and transferred to the Baltimore area. When asked to
stay with this company and relocate he declined so he could learn about
the mortgage business with Federal Home Equity located in the same
building with ACC in Chevy Chase, Maryland. After a short time Greg was
one of the leading loan originators. Some time after that he was
offered the position as Senior Loan Officer for a new Mortgage company
located in Baltimore, MD called Continental General Mortgage. Greg
trained employees and helped run the day to day operations, and in doing
so learned the mortgage business from top to bottom, e.g., taking a Loan
Application to Processing to Underwriting to Settlement and finally to
Post Closing. With the support of several banks and family, Greg opened
AAMI in early October of 1993; American Advantage Mortgage, Inc. is now
in its 15th year. Greg was a member of National Association of Mortgage
Brokers (NAMB) and Maryland Association of Mortgage Brokers (MAMB) and
was a good standing member of the MD Better Business Bureau with no
official complaints over fifteen (15) years.
